Hi, my name is Libby Duncan. I am the Junior Coach at Hamilton Lawn Tennis Club.
I have been playing tennis since the age of 6, which was many moons ago, and have plenty of playing as well as coaching years under my belt. I started my tennis journey at Hamilton and have moved around clubs a couple of times to gain more experience within the sport to make me a better coach.
Along my journey, I have worked with Elite GB athletes in the National Men’s Deaf Team, GB Wheelchair Tennis and have been involved with coaching some successful Special Olympic athletes. Having won multiple awards for my work within the tennis community, I have also coached alongside previous Wimbledon champions Boris Becker, Andrew Castle and Annabelle Croft.
I am not only a disability coach, but I have a passion to get as many young people back into taking part in physical activity because “at the end of the day it’s just tennis”.
I look forward to seeing you all on court!
