Well done to Penny and the Hamilton Pickleball Team….The awards did not go our way, but getting to the final 3 nominations was a great achievement, in a year where the highest number of nominations had been received ….. A great achievement for the newest sport in town, and still in its infancy…It was a fab evening listening to the many awards and winners, some very inspiring stories….Here’s to the next awards in 2026…..xx ... Another great night at Hamilton on Friday 16th. January 2026 honouring our Tennis Championship winners and runners up.
Awards went to:
Penny Hallam - ladies singles champion 2024
Emily Harrison - runner up

Penny Hallam and Emily Harrison -ladies doubles champions 2025
Nicky Herbert and Marie Jones - runners up

Simon Bligh - men’s singles champion 2025
Will Harrison - runner up

Simon Bligh and Will Harrison - men’s doubles champions 2025
Graham Brown and Doug Hacking - runners up

Penny Hallam and Will Harrison - mixed doubles champions 2025
Emily Harrison and Simon Bligh - runners up

The Wright Trophy for the player who performed well without getting their name on the honours board was awarded to Graham Brown

The evening concluded with a delicious buffet prepared by Helen and her staff.
